Tino Sehgal

Artist

Tino Sehgal is a Berlin-based artist celebrated for his "constructed situations" - live, immaterial works activated through interaction with visitors. Rejecting material production, his practice draws from dance and visual art traditions to create ephemeral, participatory experiences that emphasize form, composition, and space. Sehgal’s work has been shown globally, including solo exhibitions at Tate Modern, Guggenheim New York, Fondation Beyeler, UCCA Beijing and Pinacoteca Sao Paulo. In 2018, he co-curated A Prelude to The Shed, featuring his and others' live works in a space by Kunlé Adeyemi. His practice continues to shape contemporary conversations around art and experience.
