Anna Zepp is a Senior Project Manager in The Met’s Director’s Office and manages a variety of medium to large cross-departmental projects. She is deeply involved in capital construction projects and new presentations of the permanent collection, such as the Tang Wing for Modern and Contemporary Art, the renovation of the Michael C. Rockefeller Wing, the Ancient Near East and Cypriot Galleries, the Museums discovery and play space, 81st Street Studio, and others. Since 2022, Anna led The Met’s Sustainability efforts. Anna provides strategic and creative leadership on a wide range of projects initiated by The Met’s Director, Max Hollein, including selected artistic projects and public-facing events. Before joining The Met, Anna gained several years of museum experience at the Städel Museum in Frankfurt (Germany) and the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, California. Born and raised in Germany, she holds a Master of Arts in Communication and Cultural Management from Zeppelin University (Friedrichshafen, Germany).
